TRIBECA LOFT

This commodious 3,700 SF condominium, in Tribeca, with soaring 12’ tall ceilings, was renovated to accommodate the client’s growing family. They were seeking to organize this gracious space into a series of intimate gathering spaces that flow seamlessly from one area to the next. The key areas of impact included repositioning and enlarging the kitchen and dining areas, and creating two distinct living areas which can be screened off from each other using smart glass. The primary bedroom suite was expanded with a bespoke walk-in-closet; and a flexible office/guest bedroom and ensuite bathroom were added. Additionally, the clients wanted their children’s bedroom to incorporate a loft bed and reading nook which would provide a playful and inspiring environment to work in. In addition to designing targeted storage solutions and custom furnishings, new bathrooms were added which celebrate the majesty and quiet pleasure of natural materials.
