LAKESIDE KITCHEN

Situated in the serene neighborhood of Medford, New Jersey, this 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom house enjoys sweeping views over a private lake and dock. While the rest of the house forges a relationship with the lush vegetation surrounding it, unfortunately, the existing kitchen did not take advantage of these views and felt cloistered and dark - in addition to providing limited opportunities to entertain. In response to the family’s desire for a more gracious and inspiring place to entertain, the design proposal removed the built in cabinetry that was blocking any possible views and proposed an island in its place to make room for large windows that could provide panoramic views of the lake beyond.
